Three eOne execs tapped to lead Hasbro Entertainment

After reaching a $500 million deal to sell Entertainment One to Lionsgate, Hasbro is charting a course for the future of its licensed film and television offerings.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that three Entertainment One executives will lead Hasbro Entertainment. Olivier Dumont will serve as its president with Zev Foreman and Gabriel Marano respectively leading film and television projects.

Dumont was previously president of family brands for eOne and was credited as an executive producer on Power Rangers Dino Fury and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. Marano worked with the Power Rangers team prior to his promotion last year to co-head of US scripted television development.

Lionsgate's purchase of eOne is expected to close by the end of the year. The acquisition includes no Hasbro-owned intellectual property or their respective content libraries.
