BOOM! Studios on Monday offered a first look at Ranger Academy #4, which hits shelves Jan. 4.
Follow the continuing story of 13-year-old Sage, who will need to perform her first morph. She'll also need to survive the hostile planet known as Chromia and summit Prism Peak to acquire the power. But when the class bully is in trouble, Sage faces a choice: Leave him and pass, or save him and possibly fail.
The series is written by Maria Ingrande Mora with artist Jo Mi-Gyeong, colorist Fabiana Mascolo and letterer Ed Dukeshire. The main cover for the new issue is by Miguel Mercado, with variants by Mi-Gyeong, Goñi Montes and Yejin Park. BOOM! says an exclusive spoiler variant cover features a surprise so big that they are not showing the art.
Ranger Academy #4 is available for pre-order from your local comic shop and will be available digitally.
Ranger Academy Vol. 1 SC, collecting the first four issues, will be available in comic shops on Feb. 28 and in bookstores everywhere on March 5.
