We learned today of the death last year of Jelani Providence, a former Rangercast co-host.
Better known as J-Ranger, Providence was a regular on Rangercast in its earliest years. He also appeared on No Pink Spandex.
Providence died in July 2021 from injuries suffered in a car crash in Toronto. He was 37.
Providence was active in charity events on behalf of children's causes, the United Way and Habitat for Humanity. In 2019, he traveled to Kenya to help support clean water initiatives.
