Tyler, Chris, and Ryland talk up the latest Jungle Fury two-parter, "Ghost of a Chance." Somewhere in there, certain people try to drag the show into a Doctor Who tangent, which Tyler just doesn't get.
Also, Latham Gaines poked his head back into RB to see what was up. He came up with a pretty awesome alternate ending for DT. In Rangerboard Masterpiece Theatre, jp3711nc asks for cosplaying tips. Oh, and shoutouts to the fine folks at Balticon for making my Memorial Day weekend rock hard. I did two panels on podcasting with people like Tee Morris, Martha Holloway, Jared Axelrod, J.R. Blackwell, and a couple other people, and it was tons of fun. I look forward to Balticon 43, and Shore Leave 30, for which I was just enlisted as a new media panelist. Yeehaw. Comments[20]

So Acen was last weekend in Chicago. It was pretty cool, but due to circumstances beyond my control, much of my Anime Central coverage just...couldn't happen. But I was there, and thanks to the good graces of certain people, it was not a total loss.
![]() So here is the audio from a press conference with Jason David Frank, Steve Cardenas, Karan Ashley, and Robert Axelrod. It was a lot of fun to do, and I hope you have fun listening to it. Oh, and check out my photos here! Comments[16]

A quick little episode before the trip to Acen tomorrow. Tyler and Darrin (with brief special guest star Ryland) talk up Pushed to the Edge and One Master Too Many. The fates hated us as we recorded this. We tried to record Sunday, didn't work, then a new JF ep hit Monday, we recorded this. And just now the next episode, Ghost of a Chance I, hit Jetix.tv. Whoops.
Next time on Rangercast: Anime Central 2008. Oh yes. Tune in for interviews, crazy moments, and anything else we can squeeze in. Good times. Comments[6]

Tyler, Ryland, and super special snap substitute co-host Darrin (MoonsKnight) tackle some big news and stuff.
Dragon Knight doesn't suck. We discuss (and gush over) the trailer, while Darrin watches it for the very first time. A source hooked us up with titles, synopses, and writer credits for JF episodes 14-29. Good news: We get the Spirit Rangers. Those crazy toys weren't just Bandai messing with our heads. The bad news? 14-29 are all written under pseudonyms, aftereffects of last year's WGA strike. And aside from a three-episode arc, it's all Sentai rips from here. We proceed to lose hope and abandon ship. Oh, and new Jungle Fury episode. The Blind Leading the Blind. Does Master Swoop make the episode soar? Or does Theo's training still leave it dead in the water? Tune in and find out. (Hint: Tyler liked this. Impy hated it. Surprise!) Oh, and check out the Rangercast page on Facebook, because bandwagoning is fun. Comments[8]
